i noticed when buying the switches there are some with only 2 bits coming out of the bottom can you still use these switches or do you need the ones with 3 of them as pictured earlier in the diagram

you'll need one with 3 mate, as wen its in the on position itll create one circuit, and wen its off itll create another

hmmm after lookin at the transmission wiring diagram and the pinout diagram from here, i'm taking a stab in the dark that the pins i needa use are 38 just wired ontop and 11 cut and wired to each side?
can anyone confirm this or tell me i'm an idiot?

check me other posts because i gave details as to each pins for each model. I think the post is called something along the lines of "correct pins for EA (shift kit)" or something

ok this is in reference to the diagram earlier the 18 ohm resitor is replaced with a 20 and is tapped into pin 57 and the 5.6 ohm resistor is replaced with a 1 ohm and goes to pin 38 (the one you cut)

just for reference i dont think 20 ohm 10W resistors are available (they werent at jaycar) so i just used 2 10ohm 5W resistors in series.
Also when making this it is a good idea to get three different coloured electrical cable as it makes sorting out what is what much easier. |

true you cannot get a 20ohm you just join two 10 ohm ones together does the same thing sorry should have mentioned that
