I second that, Only just come across this thread and I read all 13 pages, and no pin numbers were put up for an AU even though it was asked about 8 times. Someone has to have done this to an AU. Is it the same pin numbers as an EL.

Any advice at all would be extremely appreciated.

Cheers Scott
Hi was wondering if anyone has done this shift modification to a 5L EF falcon? How does it go?What are the pin numbers and colours for a NF Fairlane 5L S2 1996 (my own car)??From the EF's they have the intergrated ECU with the transmission computer 104pins.Please help...
Thanks
Did you find info on the 104 pin EEC V, I cant seem to find schematics or anything rather, to perform the mod.

Have you got a shift kit then Adam?

How does it go with the new cam?

I've got the Shiftkits.com adjustable transmod, it hammers ...but my car just feels like it needs something more...

Does this shift kit work on EF XR6's too, (just thought ford may have reprogrammed them a little bit churpy anyways ;-) ???)
Cheers

Is there a version of this shift kit for the BA anywhere?
thanks

Yes but i dont think you can get adjustable ones
Thanks for the reply, but where can I get a diagram? I can modify it to be adjustable if I had a circuit diagram for the BA model and post back here with the results.
Well I am testing a prototype variable electronic shifter, and all seems Ok (apart from some ECU resets and a few get you home mode). I had set this up for 10 positions, but use 4 (0 and 4 are off and on) it uses a 555 timer to variable pulse the solenoid rather than a resistor to turn on/off. Needs more testing to get right.

Boys, boys, boys.

Any E-series V8 has a seperate transmisison controller - it was only the I6 that had transmission control intergrated with the ECU.

The trans control module is located under the dash, near your left leg.

Pin 7 on the TCM goes to the S5 solenoid. Pin 29 is the check line for the solenoid... 1ohm resistor for the solenoid, 20ohm for the check line...
