arrgh i keep missing your new posts

so pin 38 wire is used for EL's, but your EB loom doesnt have that wire?

how the f**k does your gear box work then lol? i cant help sorry, maybe start a thread on which wire to use with an EL ecu conversion on a boxcar

Yeah mate the diagram is fine i understand it, if had an EL i wouldn't be asking questions, i know where it all goes except I HAVE NO WIRE on the 38 or EF equivalent pin, i cant cut a wire that does not exist. Can you look at my last post the diagram, youll see what im on about.

ok i can assure you, you DO have the wire... you will see the green wire there. i might even pop out and double check the wire i have a photo it.

does the numbers on the ECU count like this |/|/| OR does it go like this |_|-| ???

im not sure exactly, its numbered 1-20 and 41-60 as in the pic i drew but no numbers for the middle row. Tho either way if you count i down 3 (40,39,38) from either side there is no wire in either.

ok i just ripped it all open and got 2 pics. not the best as its dark and the interior light was infront of it all.

look for the green wire.

Thanks for doing that for me you a champ, yes i see your green wire with you finger on it im gonna get a pic of mine, there are green ones near there but not in what i beleive is the 38 hole.

WTF... umm you dont have the wire.... i think i might have to email you the pinout diagram for the ECU's so you can work out whats what

Ok so i got the 4 speed auto transmission diagram for the EA/EB 1, does anyone know where abouts the auto transmission control unit is situated in an EA/EB1??

Im guessing it would the 'G' green wires as the S5 solenoid wire, would this be right??
