Yeah yeah... I'm more like Tiger... You can be Pooh bear. BENJ and SNAP can fight over the Christopher Robin vacancy. Krytox could be Kanga, ... There's just not enough knowledgeable characters in Winnie the Pooh books for the likes of DataMine, TWCRX7, Troyman...............

Hell - I wired one of these up with all the information provided easy enough. I think I could even add a little light if you really wanted to. What were those things called that stopped electricity flowing one way to prevent a lamp circuit flowing back into the main circuit (thus rendering the switch useless)...? Ah hell. If you want a light that bad, the EASIEST way would be to have another switch so you just flip two switches.

lol. if you want a light you WILL need to install a relay switch which is simple enough.

I've got it ---

Make a trailer out of an old EF wagon, put the old timer who knows morse into it's custom laz-y-boy reclining chair, hook up a beer fridge and let him go for it.

No warranty given, or implied, on this mod.

(No lights will work between the hours of 8pm and 8am - due to bedtimes - and random events will trigger odd and random lights between 7 and 8pm - due to beer fridge taking effect).

A.A Milne wouldn't write this little lot into The House at Pooh Corner, I promise you.

Alright, ive got mine wired up to a 6 point SPDT switch, and ive got it wired up EXACTLY the way it says in the diamgram on the first page- can any one tell me where to solder what ends of an LED to what terminals, so that the light is on only when the shift kit is on?
thanks!

as i stated above there isnt enough current flowing through the shiftkit to light up a LED, so therefore you will need to setup a relay so that the LED is powered seperately to the shiftkit but the shiftkit activates the relay

i have done a quick sketch on how it works, you add it between the switch and the new 6.7k resistor so its on when the kit is on, then add power to number 30 and 87 out to the LED then earth the other side of the LED. you might need to check and make sure the current the shiftkit provides is enough to throw a relay. so try and find a smaller sized relay. falcons use 30amp stock but you can go upwards and lower ratings

Image

please correct me if im wrong
