Well i installed mine today, and it doesnt work...
I can't feel any change at all with the switch on either position.
I have triple checked my wiring
I bought a 2nd SPDT switch just incase it was a dodgey switch
All my connections are good
I am using a 18ohm 10W and 5.6ohm 10W resistor
I have an AUII forte, and i installed it on pins 71 and 81
I have double checked they are infact pins 71 and 81

Any ideas what else i could check?
The car is stock but I should be able to notice some difference surely right?

Has anyone got this working in an AU yet?
If so, what pins did you use?
Ive been driving around with the ECU sprawled across the front passenger foot panel for a couple of days and would love to get it working and clean it all up.

Sweet, that must mean my wiring or something is dodge.
Will go back over every connection tomorrow morning and try and work out whats wrong with it.

How were the changes in the AU?

real harsh change... I changed the 18 Ohm to a 22 Ohm so it was a firm shift not a holy s**t there goes a diff type change.... LOL

Well I got mine working, had tapped into wire 72 rather than wire 71... my bad.
Mine isn't too violent, it is a firm shift, kinda dissapointing though. I was hoping for neck braking gear changes.

neck breaking changes results in diff breaking changes then gearbox breaking changes... then not much pocket change(s)

hey guys,

i just went and bought my project box, getting ready to start this mod,
will head over to d**k's to get the resistors 2moro,

i have a DF v8, can someone please confirm what must be done?
i use a 20ohm instead of a 18ohm, and a 1 ohm instead of a 5.6ohm.
pin 7 is used instead of 71, and pin 29 is used instead of 81
not on the ECU but on the other one right?

sorry but im just trying to confirm it before i go ahead with it.
iv read through the entire thread and this is all i could come up with lol

does the ECU get touched at all on the v8?

Sheeez - Didn't see this message for some absurd reason. Sorry.

I removed it as the car went out late one night and woke up in the morning with a ugly T5 manual. 8-)

Was very happy with it until no long required. Good cheap bit of kit...

sorry, but no1 can confirm this for me?

as far as i could tell, there were no 100% clear instructions for the v8 and the website that supposedly had them no longer exists
