You had it set up wrong

It can provide firmer shifting and faster shifting but too much WILL stuff up a tranny

I had mine in my other car for a year and no dramas, tranferred it over to this car and no issues either

Mine is adjustable, so the way i have it set up is under light acceleration its virtually like normal, give it a bit and firms up but no way near excessive

Under the right conditions, the quicker shifting is better for the tranny less heat is generated due to the quicker shift

LOL. it couldn't of been the fact that the auto was worn out and i constantly had it set to either off or flat out. nah couldn't be. it must've been me setting it up wrong

Can you guys tell me if this kit will remove the sluggish feel I get from the Auto when going up hills, It is like the engine is reving/under load and not going any faster, bit like a clutch is slipping in a manual car. I would like a more positive feel in the drive of the auto, will this kits help in that part. I really do not want the full hard change just a more positive feel. I have driven a very late EL with the AU Motor and it had a more positive drive from the Auto.

it only affects the shifts - makes them faster - not the overall performance.

I know some basic electronic skills was wondering you would be able to put a variable resistor in so you could adjust the firmness that you want?

Yeah I'm sure that somewhere in this thread they mention using a variable pot.

if you have a BTR, can't see why not.
it just increases line pressure, wont have any effect when turned off if its wired right.
