Build it yourself,

Takes about 1 hour, and if you have a bit of electronics knowledge you can even make this one adjustable or two stage by slightly modifying the setup.
Costs about $10 in parts.

I have been using mine in a 200,000K auto on and off for the last few months, and it still surviving.

As Fordfreak ef said I had an electronic one on switch inside the car but now had one built into my auto when i had a hybrid box built up, so now it's constant.
my old one went into xpfalcon170's car.
just build one yourself with the parts from jaycar, dirt cheap to make and a lot of fun to drive! also helps keep your auto from sh*ting itself.

Is this true that it will blow your gearbox up?

no mate, it wont blow your gearbox up, we've got hundreds of cars out there running with our shift kits and never had one report of a blown gearbox due to the shift kit.

a shift kitted gearbox will infact last longer than a non shift kitted gearbox,
the increased line pressure saves the frictions within the trans.
we've got customers pushing 300+ kw through a factory BA gearbox with noting more than a shift kit and they are holding up fine.
If your talking about shift kitting a box thats done 200,000 kms, then thats another story....
