Cost me just under $500 for the lot. $380-odd for the shifter, and approx $100 for the stick kit. 8-)

So the stick was a separate buy?

The shifter came with a stick, but it was a long curved thing that put the knob too close to the console lid, in 2nd and 4th, for my liking. The stick that came in the stick kit had two bends, one back and one forward, which sits the shift knob exactly where I like it. :?

Wooppee - doo! :P
I looked at all the cheap sh!t shifters on flea bay, and elsewhere, and decided to stay with a well known brand with a good warranty, and I found a lot of positive feedback on this shifter. I'm happy with it, and that's all that really matters to me. 8-)

Pretty sure Steeda's not a cheapo unknown brand!
just because you can buy it direct from the states without paying 200% markups and taxes doesnt mean its s**t!

Is this the kind of stick that was too close to the console lid?
