Im going to be buying a short shifter soon ive got 3 in mind ive see the gm motorsport rip shifter and it was solid and a well built and felt like it shifted pretty well, it was spring loaded so it would search for the next gear when running up through the gears.
Heres my list whats peoples thoughts.

Herrods Sure shifter $550
http://www.herrodmotorsport.com.au/index.asp?id=154

GM motorsports Rip shifter $499
http://www.gmmotorsport.com/ripshiftmanual.htm

SVO motorsports Lightning Shifter $425
http://www.svomotorsport.com/components/shifters.htm

Regards,
Mark

the svo shifter doesnt look as solid as the other 2 the gm motorsport one impressed both andrew and myself at the ford vs holden show i think this one might be the go will prob pick one up in the next 3 or so weeks. I cant justify $425 on a svo shifter since ive seen no impovement in it since it was $325 about a year ago.

Yeah it was on a holden 6 speed box felt solid and very quick to shift with. i think it would be $500 well spent if i get one of them

that GM short shifter was solidly made, and it was very impressive. i will be going the GM shifter i think as it has adjustable points for the shifter when in gear. BTW holden vs ford show was CRAP!

I love your style nicko!!!

9:26AM - Nick expresses an interest in the short shifter.
3:29PM - Nick advises us shifter has been purchased and will be fitted shortly.

No messin around mate - the way it should be, lol. Bit of an impulse buyer?

hey guys, I went to the ford V Crap heaps show and there was a company demoing their Quick shift shifter for T5s. They had a box there with and one without to try, the quick shifter box felt pretty dam good with very clean snappy changes. kits were around $400 compared to the herrod one which is over $500. I cant remember the name of the company making them, which is f..king helpfull i know. Maybe someone else who was at the show can remember.
