I'm re-doing my whole front end (and rear end)... Complete reco with a mixture of Pedders, Noltec and Nolathane parts...
Should I go the extra $220 or so and grab a 30mm Pedders front sway bar? Can anyone vouch for them?

It will work well with your stiffer springs, it is not urgent and easily fitted at any time.

I fitted a 28mm Whiteline front sway bar and it made a considerable difference. Cost me $205 I think and was well worth it. Installed easily myself in less than an hour

The last two posts don't tell me if they're any good...
 I know people own 30mm sway bars... I want to know if they're worth the money.

I upgraded from a Pedders 27mm bar to a KMac 30mm bar, and the difference was quite noticeable.
I highly recommend upgrading to a 30mm bar. I would suggest that if you do, upgrade the rear bar as well. Cheers BenJ PS. the poll isn't working.

After we put my front end back together and went for a drive, I decided I'd do the sway bars.
I'm going to set about rebuilding the rear end within the next week or so. Already got the bits, just need the time. Then once all the necessary things have been replaced I'm going to grab a pair of Pedders or Whiteline HD sway bars and pop them on. Looking forward to noticing the difference.

dude, you will notice a good amount of difference especially when you power down out of a corner. The inside wheel should get better grip and make the car more flatter as you exit out. Sway bars are definitely worth the dough if you want real good handling. Even on street form, I have 27mm front and 25mm rear whiteline sways and I did notice how much better I was able to move out of the corner with out body roll and the inside wheel wanting to spin.

A standard AU rear bar are hollow and 23mm in diameter.
Yes the ED handles like a train on rails.....on corners, give the clutch a bit and the ar5e comes out.
