just got lower ball joints and steering arms done on a el falcon i have 17' on it and just had them balanced and when i drive around under 100 all good but when i drive 105 its shutters and the steering wheel shanks like all crap im at a lost to what to do next.

I have the same problem in my Ef, I looked and found the bottom of the upper control arm is almost touching the front tyres when the cars flat, so under braking at that speed the tyres are hitting the upper control arm bush for the shocks. Maybe have a look and see if your suspensions f**k like mine is

I had the same thing, also while braking at those speeds, it turns out it was one of my front wheels slightly bent/unbalanced.

My Nanna had an EL, the steering wheel shuddered all over the place when she went over a hundred and it was because the wheels were out of alignment.
