the trick is to not stand out to much.

i have a modded exhaust but its not loud enough to bring attention to the car, plus its as stock s a rock on the outside, which reminds me,need to get the rust fixed soon.

and just depends on the day of an inspection etc whether the bloke doing the inspection/copper thats pulled you over etc is in a crappy mood or not

At the end of the day if you mod your car without first asking around youre only asking to get stung later...or really posing a risk to yourself, others in your car and everyone else on the road...

its common sense to check before undertaking any major/minor modification...and if you do mod your car have a chuckle think hey that is so loud or illegal then why do it? .. u cant blame the laws, legislation etc

I know for the cost of a local phone call i'd rather check my mod is going to be ok or if it will require me to spend a lil more to have it engineered then spend huge amounts reversing mods, paying for the damage done when mods arent safe or go wrong...or having to pay for those lovely yellow stickers im tuch wood thankful not to have recieved yet..

So Mickkky what exactly do you plan to do to your car

Big Kev

Its my daily and as i drive it alot and want it to be a good reliable car. As i have decided to keep it for a few more yrs i want to replace the springs and shocks and also do a brake upgrade to help pull it up better.

So im spending abit of money on to so its a nice reliable car and also perform better.

I want to lower it abit to be XR height and have a decent braking setup too.
