Well coming back from the dyno day yesty, the brakes really felt like the discs had warped even more, and was a pain in the a** to drive.

So question is what is the part number for the DBA slotted rotors? I have looked at the DBA website and downloaded the parts cataloge, but it all seems a bit confusing a bit to me. i dunno, maybe it is something iam missing on there.

So if someone could give me the part number for a 98 NL fairlane, that would be great. And also the sort of price u pay per rotor.

Also while im at it, i will be changeing pads aswell. Are the benedix advanced pads fine to use, or is there a better alternative out there. What type of price would i be looking at for these. If i remember correctly last time (bout 3 years ago) i priced the pads they were roughly about $120.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

cheers

Ben

speak to our sponsor Hi Tek Brakes - They can arrange chipping to you and are bloody cheap - i have DBA slotteds and EBC pads on teh NL - Great combo and i have used them for a few years now. Replaced my discs about 2 weeks ago!

The DBA's from them are $95 a side

not sure on freight but i know alot of guys from interstate have bought from them also as they are bloody cheap!

why thank you nicko for posting my woefull number yet again

Yeah very dissapointed with the number, not bad for stock i guess, but very surprised with the torque side of it, i got less than some of the stock 6's!!!!!

but yeah, still wanting to know part numbers, as i can get them prob fairly cheapthrough a mate of a mate, but need to get everything together first before i give him the order.

well i finally got the bloody things, and quite cheap too, $300 for 4 slotted rotors and benedix advanced pads all round.

Pulls up the lane quite nice now, and no more pulsating pedal, which was really pissin me off.

Butbest couple of hundred i have spent, got a few things in the mail now, so finally gettin some movement into the lane.
