hey fellow modders,
tonite at the shops car was fine, then after gettin home car seems unusually slow engaging reverse.
takes about 5 secs or a small rev to get in but when its in gear its fine, all forward gears have no issue.

is my ba xt 4spd auto shltbox

reverse takes more pressure to work than the forward gears... I'd start by checking the fluid level... It may be down enough to be starting to effect reverse and not the forward gears yet...

had similar problem, trans flush fixed that, no probs scince 8-)

gearbox has overheated and went into lhm last nite.
fitted a trans cooler this morning and has improoved the issue but i think my box oil is burnt so gonna replace next weekend.

Remember to give it a flush when changing the oil as getting all the old oil out is impossible and change the oil filter while your going if you're taking the pan off.
