when i use my brakes, i feel a shudder through the break pedal that my mum could feel in the passenger seat? what could this be? disc rotors, pads? its s**t house

rotors need machining... or warped...

i had same problem with my ef. what i did was bought some brake clamps and individually clamped off each line to find ouch which one was warped. it ended being both the fronts so as ya do i put slotted all round and bendex pads
_________________ there are a few falcons in my drive way, some of them are turbo charged and some arent, some have big engines and some are small but they all have one thing in common and that is the blue oval on the front |

Generally if you can feel it though the pedal its the rears/maybe the front and if its coming through the steering then its the fronts in which case you either need to get new rotors or get the old ones mechined

What if it only happens at very high speeds (e.g 110-130 slowing down to exit speeds (70)

Still go with warped rotors either machine or replace and do pads at same time

Yea no matter what speed it does it at the rotors are still going to have a lip on them and be warped so as said either mechine or replace and it is advised to replace the pads at the same time

Still warped rotors. Just needs more heat to show up.

What's the point in identifying a single warped disc? You'd want to replace/machine the discs as a front/rear pair in any case!

Have on car disc machining on all discs & fit new pads! They should be able to tell if they are warped while machining them I think!
