Hey sorry to be a pain but i was wondering what the best set up would be to lower my EF Fairmont.

I was thinking Low's in the front and Super Low's in the rear? Any pics of this set up?
What about Super Low's in the front and Ultra lows in the rear? Any pics of this set up?
This is what hight i'm after:

What set up is that?

Do i need to change shocks also?
What else is involved in lowering a car apart from swapping the springs?

Also prices on springs would be good

Thanks guys

Super lows all round will most likely put you in the illegal bracket...but i have seen some people with legal height after putting super lows in all round.

I have low all round with shortened shocks and I'm already having trouble with some drive ways.

This is when I had super lows in the rear and lows in the front with the shortened shocks. The a** sat lower because of the sound system, so i got super lows swapped over with lows.

I have supers all round, and it sits level, but its probably only because of the amp and sub.

Your pic looks ultras rear, supers front.

Look thru the build threads, theres heaps of pics with details there.

i fixed my post up, the pic you posted is SSL rear & SL fronts

With shocks, your original ones are probably half f**k and wont last long with any lowering. I fitted Monroe GT's all round (budget price shock) and seems fine with my springs. Any lower than Super's, then short stroke shocks are a must

Get the shocks replaced at same time. Iv been told $100 a pair for the springs but thats trade price. I think when i got my lows i pai about 250 for all the springs. Shocks were 120 for the fronts and about 80 - 90 for the rears. This is Kingspring Lows all round. Looks better than factory, is very practical for all my driving.

SSL = Ultras... SL all round seems to be the go, u will regret it if u get SL rear and low front, with SL in the front of mine its still to high.

I'd def not get lows in the front if your after a decent look, its surprisingly high.
I'd also suggest looking at pedders springs over kings.
