finally after so long my mates old EF with the 3.73:1 LSD is getting ripped apart, therefore the 3.7 LSD goes into my car soon, just wondering where the speedo gear is on the EF's and how do i put it in my car?

The speedo gear is in the side of the gearbox, best to take it to someone so that they can calibrate diff gears and tyre height to have speedo reading right.

if you've got a speedo gear from the other car with it calibrated for the 3.7 diff, and the same wheel diameter, just get that, and replace yours. Its on the (from memory) passenger side of the gearbox.
Cheers

I was under the impression 3.7s needed electronic correction for the speedo?

IF you dont want to do the speedo gear (which is the best way to go though), jaycar make an electronic speedo sender cable interupter which can be used to correct the speedo. check out www.jaycar.com.au and do a search.
