Spin resistant means LSD. |

I've seen plenty of high performance e-series diffs that arent LSD.....
I'm pretty sure most V8 diffs are 4 pinion. |

krisisdog wrote: True that.... except EA-EB1s got the 2 pinions so not all e-series probably why the original diff went bang and locked itself so it was a locker

When we put an ED 3.27 LSD into my EAII Ghia (originally 4 speed), we had to change the tailshaft and rear lower trailing arm bushes. The flange on the original diff was completely different to that on the ED diff BTW. On EAII 4 speed Ghias, it is indeed a 3.23 LSD. I always thought mine had a 2.97 till I blew it up and found it was a 3.23

Never seen a 4spd auto falcon without the 4 pinion flange. Control arms do differ, but can be worked around. Ea's & Eb1's are good for something Troy, you should know that.... lol. If they are not clean car's worthy of being kept complete, they are good to give up 5 speed conversion & while they are not overly "fast", EB1 Xr8's with 5spds are fun car's to drive. Just wish i had enough time & good weather to get mine on the road. Cheers ToranaGuy
