hey guys

changing some springs stock springs to XR in a an AU s2

got a problem

ive taken out the top bolts under the radiator bottle there finger tight , and the bottom bolt compelty out

now ive tryed positioning a hydro jack under where the bottom bolt went to try vary the angles, but no luck

im confused

im really noob on cars but i have been able to follow instructions to change a clutch in a civic , which before that i couldn't even change a wheel on side of road

the bolts on top, i hope you only undid the outer 3, and not the one in the middle! the middle one is the top of the strut and will keep the spring compressed until you get the whole assembly out.

you should also undo the sway bar. undo both sides and it will swing down out of the way. also undo the top ball joint and then the stub will drop down. don't forget to remove abs wire off the strut housing. holding the disc down you should be able to maneuvre the strut assembly out.

eb v8: low loud and fast. just how a v8 should be. i guess the big question is, is it fast enough...
