hey guys, if i can get myself some springs at wholesale price and take them along with my car to a suspension joint, wat kind of a price am I looking at to get them installed? would 150 - 200 be about right? bit more, bit less??

also if i got my shockies done at the same time the price wouldnt change would it? the shocks would already be out??

cheers

50 for labour?? all up??
so technically i can take my springs are can in and itll cost me $50? sounds a little cheap lol
wat springs did u get? sound a bit exy so maybe part of the labour was included with the spring price??

and smackdown, i was probably going to go king lows and keep my shocks, providing they are in reasonable condition, ive heard ride handing and comfort are affected too much if u only go lows.. anyone care to input?? 8-)

also, getting lowered shocks is gonna give me a more comfortable ride, but do they also make any difference to the ride height?? looking at a whole bunch off pics with king s/lows, vs king s/lows with lowered shocks, the ones with the shocks seem a bit lower, is this rite?

well, if i could be f**k digging mine up id tell you the price.. but...

from memory.... mine was about 170 labor? pretty expensive, then they charged 70 for a full alignment.. so yeh..

im running superlows with standard shocks..

long story short, i gave him an indication of right height, said i didnt want super low springs.. cause i didnt want new shocks. pick the car up, geez thats low. get home, check the part numbers.. mmhuh, superlows! i queried it when i saw it, about ride height and if i would need new shocks for it he said nah nah its fine... he was a ford man too, and an ED xr6 out the front that was very clean

150 i s a pretty average price up here, so obviously 50 for labour was cheap.

Oh well thats what the invoice said.
