Do you have an auto or manual? If manual, crappy thrust bearings squeak.

I'm pretty certain 50% of all EF/L Falcons were released with suspension (probably bushes) that squeaks whenever a minute bump is hit.
Mine just happens to be in that 50%.

note: stay away from bendex pads.
have you tried that supercheap stop brake squeak crap?

I dont know what squeaks under mine, havent changed anything other than the springs yet. but damn its annoying - yet another good reason for a loud exhaust, cam, and a decent stereo

nothing?
so does this actually happen when you apply the brakes?
Im thinking bushes..
I get this problem all damn day long..specially as it gets hotter through out the day :(

Do you find it happens as it gets warmer? Bushes will then loosen up that way and start to go spungie..
Well mine do anyway!

My squeak is a regular squeek that comes from the wheels.... It gets quicker as the car gets quicker, and stop when its still. bumps make no difference (so its not the suspension)

when you slow down it stops its in the front.

all bushers have been changed its only when the wheel is going round has new bearings and the breaks and stub axles and rotors are new all new strearing only the rack is old.

Has it got ABS ? Could be sensor touching on pole ring. Or are the stub axles worn and the inner race of the wheel bearings moving causing the squeak.

EB1 no ABS i was told it could be the plate around the pads bent and rubbing on the disk

I just remembered. I use to get an annoying conistent squeak when I had s**t pads. If you press the brake and it stops squeaking, you know what it is.

Mine is pretty much the same, however more recently the squeek makes it self even more known when going over bumps. It's only when the wheels are spinning though.

When I apply the brakes the squeek gets worse too... perhaps its s**t pads crossed with a slightly warped rotor?
