it might be what happened with my au, the front callipers are sticking causing the pad to rub against the brake pad longer then it should be, and glazing up the pad. with the extra heat and glaze making it squeel like pig. I havent fixed mine yet, but some of that 'anti squeel' spray from supercheap works for short term relief...

It could be a few things but i'll give you some ideas. Check to make sure there is no lip on the rotor, check for debris like a small rock stuck in the rotor/pad area, as already mentioned the calliper slides sticking, remove the calliper slide retaining bolts and grease up the slides making sure they slide free. Paint permatex three onto the back of the pad, this will prevent any vibrations/squeaks, the compound in permatex softens the vibes just like backing plates/shims. If nothing else works machine the rotors and deglaze the pads.

when i was workin at ford dealer, with the ol ba's i would deglaze discs with a scuff pad on die grinder and roughen up the pads. if there was a lip on the disc i'd put a shamfer on the pad with a file, and that bright orange stuff on the backing plate on the pad too. never had any cars come back squeakin
