What sort of stuff could i spray on my brakes to stop them squeking, where abouts would i spray?. It is mainly when i am not going to fast and apply the brakes lightly, any ideas what it could be?

I think you mean brake squeel, anyway there isnt all that much you can do. There is a paste/glue that can be applied to the metal side of the pads, also a different brand of pad maybe. Benix is a well known and trusted brand. What is the condition of your rotors? are they glazed, rippled, scored??

i havnt had time to pull off my wheels and have a look but just before i brought her she had four new rotors put on her so they should be good.

probarbly the type of pads they have used. pads squeel alot more than when they used asbestos but now it illegal for good reasons.

check the pads... make sure you havnt grinded them all away

it wouldnt be doing damage would it? i will pull off the wheels and have a look sometime. thanks for he feedback

u could try 'contact cleaner' which removes any oil and dust film, and the stuff dries real quick. Contact cleaner is something sparkys use to clean bits.

try sanding the pads a bit to remove the glaze.
