I'm running a 2800rpm stall in my EFXR8 and no need for any mods.

i had a 3000 stally in the ef xr8 and i found i prolly copped a bit of over kill and maybe lost a bit of power.... pick the stally according to ur application... mine is gonna suit the xr8 wen i get her back on the road with the extra power. cant wait

Has anyone one got a stall converter in an 4spd auto, 6 cycl?
I have been warned that fuel economy goes to s**t with these.
Can they be switched on and off at the dash?

IIRC if you have anything over 3000rpm stally it tricks the ECU into limp home mode, so stay under 3000rpm stally and you will be fine. Not to sure about the fuel economy.

And no you cant switch them on and off, the stall point is non adjustable and you cant disable it. its there for good!
