Hi there can anyone tell me if a steering rack from a 4.0 1995 NF fairlane will fit a 5.0 1997 Dl ltd thanks dave.

The one in the DL LTD may have SSPS....Speed Sensitive Power Steering, so, fitting an early rack, wont have this. The spline may be different from rack to rack too.....I'm not 100% sure on that, but I do know the intermediate shafts are different for 6 cyl and V8's.

Same spline, I have a V8 rack in my 4.0 Fairmont. I meant the spline difference for the SSPS rack to a NON SSPS rack......sorry if I didn't make it clear on that.
