Have you peeled bad your boots to check for leaks?? Or is there any fluid around where the steering coloum connects to pinion of the rack??
And does it only have the problem on the left or right turning? or both?

Could be the pinion teflons inside your rack, but before you go spending $180 or so on another rack, I would be checking what the other guys have said.
Like the boss kit or steering column(inside car and engine bay, to make sure its not hitting anything causing the clunking.

check ball joints
clunking when turning is often your lower ball joints on one or maybe both sides

getting them replaced may have caused the problem. Those ball joints can be a b**ch to get in, and if not pressed in right they get stuffed and bind, thus stuffing up the self centering.
Was it a reputable place that did the ball joints for you? Take it back and see if they can do anything for you. |

I thought Castor pulled the wheels straight not toe!

Castor does make a car pull, but if you have massive toe in or out, then you loose self centering and the car drives like crap. Has no feedback and its just all over the place
