Need some advice. Want to stiffen the suspension on my EF. I don't want to lower the car, as I have 17s, spacers and havent had the guards rolled.
I just want the car to not feel like a boat when being thrown through corners. What are my options?
Cheers
Chris

swaybars and heavy duty shocks, that will do it!

;) Bingo!
Although I'm not sure why you're worried about lowering chong bonger?
Unless you mean you have spacers to give you more track?!?
Which is uber-illegal if you have.
Just go 'low' springs, and you really shouldn't have any trouble with rubbing on guards.
But, either way, swaybars are a must for good handling, with polyurethane/nolathane D-Bushes and swaybar link bushes.
I recommend Whiteline personally, (no surprises there), but Kmac and Pedders both do swaybars for the E-Series believe.

your gurads wont rub out with 17" with just lows unless u really throw it hard round a dipping corner ... suspension packs I'd have a squiz at {DESCRIPTION} for a guide on pricing anyway...they have mild and full works system that does all the getup bushes, sway bars, shocks springs and a little more.

Also guard rolling wont cost u much any how

whiteline packs start at $895 heres there pricing for EF/ELs {DESCRIPTION}

But u can go much better....i think they use kyb shocks and king springs

My setup was slightly cheaper then the norm and was $2600 fitted without swaybars or hi grade bushes

KYB and BOGE shocks, revalved by Whiteline to suit the vehicle.
They get there own springs wound by Lovells, and make there own swaybars.
For the price, you won't get better. Simple as that.
No other manufacturer that I know of does testing on suspension kits as a whole.
I've got Whiteline springs, shocks and non-adjustable swaybars, and it transforms the car.
On a local backroad near my house, speed limit 100, with sharp hairpins and sweepers, I can scare the s**t out of passengers, and outrun alot of much more expensive machinery.
I had my sisters boyfriend in the car, who drives an AUI XR6 VCT, and he was literally grabbing the seat and armrests and couldn't stop saying 'f**k'.
I paid just over 1k for my setup (I fitted it all myself), and it's the best money I've ever spent.
You could go out and spend bucketloads of cash on the best of everything, but it won't mean s**t if the dampers (shocks) aren't matched to the springs, and the vehicle.
Nicco loves them, and so does data_mine.
Consider Whiteline highly recommended.
