1) Take T5 box
2) Throw it in the bin 3) Fit T56 and be happy

^^^^ indeed.
The T5 is a great box for a NA 6, more grunt than that and she'll be testing the limits, especially 3rd gear. Alot of the V8 and turbo blokes that are putting more than stockish grunt into em are picking up the pieces. A t56 or TKO600 are the best alternatives if you wanna keep the manual.

not sure how strong you can build them but my t5 box is out of a EA Turbo race car not sure what was done to it but seem to hold up fine getting flogged around a track all day.
