depending on condition and budget, you should be ok. The springs should remain captive with standard shocks. Though being an ea, they might need doing anyway.

You will also HAVE to budget for a camber/caster kit to realign the front tyres.

If you do a search, you should be able to find some info on fitting them...

Its not hard though... just drop the upper balljoint, undo the lower strut mount, then loosen the top 3 upper strut mounts - you'll need a lever bar to lever down on the radius rod, to get the strut out.

Some people find it easier to drop the swaybar link too, but as long as you remove both lower strut mount bolts it should be ok

You will need a spring compressor to get the spring of the strut, once the strut is removed from the vehicle. The standard falcon springs have a fair bit of tension in them, so it is really NOT recommended to just undo without the compressors.

Cheers
Matt

You may get away with leaving the front struts stock but i would definately change the rears to shortened shocks to allow for greater suspension travel when you have some weight in the rear and boot.

Southy, running Monroe shocks i bet the rear is bouncy yes? unless you removed the bump stops... Bad idea! Monroe dont do shortened/lowered shocks.
