Generally yes, it is beneficial. Lows isnt so important, but superlows should be treated to new shocks!

Get the dude whose doing it to check the condition of your shocks. I run superlows on stock suspension, but check it out first.

my superlows in an ef gli needed new struts. the crossmember sit just 75-80mm (2/3 a coke can), but i dont drive stupid so the police leave me alone.
ps. my old shocks were shagged, but that wasnt the problem it was all the fubard bushes, the front radius rod? bush was half the size it should have been just by years of wear. just remember never hit a driveway head on, 45' and slow, is your friend. good luck |
