Hi Guys,
I know everyone has a different preference on this subject, but i was just wondering what you think is the best way to lower your car? I will use Superlow springs as the standard. Please leave a reason for you answer.

Ultra lows, check my sig.
It was still pretty drivable too, the exhaust sustained a few scrapes though. And I could still have a car full of mates, I even had a BTR in the boot ones, didn't have any trouble for normal driving. Having said that, the exhaust had some dents in the muffler, and rattled at a certain RPM in reverse after an incident in an unfamiliar area. It would also scrap the end of the exhaust and tow bar revering in/out of some steepish driveways. It would also scrap on some speed bumps, and I used to have to crawl over most others. But you have to expect that from a lowered car, and the longer wheel base doesn't help it either.

I said superlow all round.
It's what I had in my old EF, there will be pics on this site somewhere from years ago. I did have bilsteins all round, the front shocks had to an alloy spring plate that had to positions, i had it on the lower position, (only 10mm difference) |

i was scraping on speed bumps, mostly the muffler though. I had dual fuel and sub boxes, and an empty car.

750mm seems a bit high mate, that's a touch over 2 feet in the old money seriously though, that height looks perfect to me, how was it to drive handling wise? Were they king springs? It think the reason most people run into trouble with ultra-lows is most company's use thinner gauge wire for ultra's, which gives more droop and makes it look lower. The problem is that when you start loading a car up, it gets real low, real fast. Ideally from a handling perspective you want stiffer springs the lower you go.

good for off roading
i loved the handling on the supers, and yes they were king springs.

I had SSL in the rear and SL in the front of my BA. Sustain minor exhaust tip/tow bar damage. But it was plenty driveable!

I have superlows all round.
KFFL-26SL and KFRL-27SLHD. I called up a few times to get the hub to gaurd distance same front and rear, I like the even ride height, and with a person in the back gives it a slightly dumped look, Heavy duty in the rears for an extra 30 kilos or somthin. It scrapes on high speedbumps, and as mentioned the LWB dosnt help, lol. Not recommended for Off Road use!!

I didn't vote...but I wouldn't use super lows....I'd use Lows...and I do use Lows ( XR6 spec).
The picture is of my car and an Australian Standard speed hump of 75mm high ( max ) sillotte under my genuine Ford mudspats. http://www.aussiespeedhumps.com.au/standards_speedhumps
