hi there can i use rear lower trailing arms from a eb 1992 to go on a ea 1988

The metal arms are the same, but the bushes arent.
So you're talking about a direct swap, no they won't fit. |

You'll obviously need new bushes and a 6ton press with appropriate tools to push the old out and new in.

I ask because EB1's had the same trailing arms as an EA. EB2 onwards are different.

eb s2 changed to live axel diffs, which then changed their bushes in the lower trailing arms, i had the same problem, the uppers fit from ea-el. i bought new nolathane uppers and lowers which cost me around $350 from repco, but that was with a staff discount.

well ok guys im stuck my roadworthy place have said to change lower rear trailing arm bushers now when i look in the book is the real name for them lower control arm

EA/EB1 lower trailing arms are different to EB2/ED. The upper trailing arms are the same, except for the XR6 ones.
I have EA trailing arms in my ED.....I made spacers for them.

thanks cjh i found that i have a eb2 so cant use them went a got bushers for then doing them now
