Yeah I know, but there are different types, ie. replacement, extra heavy duty and adjustable. I've priced the heavy duties at around 170 a piece.

Front: BFF35AX
Rear: BFR35

I THINK from memory 'X' indicates an adjustable bar.
Where are you getting prices from XRated?
I got ridiculously overquoted by Bursons, before I went to Autobarn who gave me a much better price.
$170 a piece is over the top for non-adjustables IMO.

I'll chase up my receipt if you want xrated, get the part numbers and cost (from Autobarn Sunbury) straight off there.

as steady said - i picked up my EL GT swaybar (front) from ford for $75 brand spankers - they're 29mm ones. yet to fit it, so its just taking up space in the garage  lol

29 not 27.. my bad
You bought that ages ago!
Get off your a** and fit it, it's not that hard!

Castlegreyskull and xrated, if your Ford dealer stocks the EL GT bars still, and for that price, I'd get one of those, I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make balance wise though.
If anything it would lean it a bit towards oversteer.
Even 1mm can make a difference.

According to... http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/bulletins/010barup.pdf

A 29mm bar is approximately 113% stiffer then a 24mm, and the 30mm is approximately 144% stiffer then the 24mm.

the car isn't driven very often now, so theres no rush to get it fitted :P

i had mine freighted over from east - so there are still the GT ones around, and any dealer should be able to get them in :)

the rear ones are over $350 though!

That'd be good if you could. I can't understand how buying direct from Whiteline is more expensive!!!! Hopefully I'll be able to order it through Autobarn near me. But I've really got to stop spending money on my car LOL!

FOUND IT!!!
'twas harder then I thought...
Whiteline part numbers are the second set of numbers.
First set is probably Sunbury Autobarns item code.

Thanks, you're a champion!

The prices are very similar to Whiteline I guess - I see your front sway bar is the heavy duty, not the "extra" heavy duty. But after all the stories of sway bar mounts breaking, I don't think the extra mm or two is gonna be needed heh....

Does anyone know a performance shop or something that gets Whiteline gear?

I don't think there is an extra heavy duty for EA-EL.
My front is the 30mm bar.
Rear is 24mm I think. I always forget :P
Only other bar option I know of is Adjustable.
Whiteline do custom bars though.
Only performance shop I know of that stocks them is Centreline Suspension in Thomastown.
Never been there myself, but they seem to have a good rep.
I intended on getting mine fitted there, before I went the cheap way out and fitted it all myself.

You can get:
Heavy duty (27mm?): BFF35A $134+GST
Extra heavy duty (30mm?): BFF35AX $172+GST
Blade adjustable (??-??mm): BFF35AZ $242+GST

I might head down to Autobarn today.
