I'm just accumulating the last of the parts I need to do my AU3 wagon, and I'm hoping it'll be a fair bit better (not that it's too bad now anyway). I have the BA Premium brake option with the PBR C6 calipers in the front. The brakes were very good but I always felt the front was doing too much of the braking. The stock read disks are like bottle tops! Now that the rear pads have bedded in to the new RDA slotted rotors, the brake peddle is very high and firm. A small application and the car just wants to stop. I also have braided hoses in the rear. With the larger diameter rotors and larger pads, the rear does a little more of the braking. Probably similar braking proportions to the standard BA/BF brake setup. I am more than happy with the result. |

you should be able to upgrade rear disc on a live axle rear end. you need to get the mounting plates of a ba ute or wagon as they the will bolt onto yor diff assy. i upgrade my au with ba pemium brakes and that was what i had to do.
