Does anyone know if the rear 328mm Ventilated rear brakes on an SX Territory will fit on a BA Sedan, replacing the 303mm solids?
I know that the BF rears are a straight swap. I also know that the SX Terri rear discs are identical in that they have the same diameter, same thickness, same runout parameters, and the same park brake allignment tools are used. I took some pics from the back of our SX and our BA. The only thing that may be different is the offset of the disc from the hub. But man, it looks close. Pics up shortly. Lukeyson |

It will fit on the front, But you have to run a longer brakeline, different mounting bracket, and a minimum of 17' rims...
I say this, because I upgraded a few months ago with the vented discs...

Well, I have the BF fronts on at the moment thanks to the FTG upgrade.
So I know the BF rears will likely go on. So just to be clear, we're all saying that the SX Rears are a straight swap on a BA? With no brake line or bracket issues? Given there's probably quite a few more SX Territories in the scrapper than BF XR's it made sense for me to investigate... Lukeyson |

FTG sell this upgrade also brand new Almost correct guys. I have just completed this conversion two weeks ago on my BA. This what you need to have and do: 1. Territory rear callipers and rotors. 2. Territory brake hoses which have the body brackets integrated (Standatd BA hoses will not do) 3. Either install Territory backing plates OR cut approximately 20mm either side of the calliper opening to accommodate the larger calliper. 4. A bit of patience working with handbrake setup 5. 17" rims There you are, easy ! |

Yeah, I have the FTG brand-new front conversion.
Looking for the a***-cheap way for the rears. Would probably go with RDA's on the back though. Lukeyson |

should go we just got 2 rear end bf falcon diff and shafts and discs and stuff and a terriory one and they are prttey much the same

For those of you who have done the conversion, how did you find the difference?
I'm just accumulating the last of the parts I need to do my AU3 wagon, and I'm hoping it'll be a fair bit better (not that it's too bad now anyway). |

Justin - i dont think you will be able to fit these on to an au rear live axle It will fit BA irs However you could upgrade the fronts to territory spec

I have heard of conversions on other live axle AU's (utes in particular) but nothing on wagons so far. A couple of brake shops I've spoken to though are confident in doing the changeover, and have indicated it's all pretty much a straight bolt in as long as I can get hold of the Terri caliper mounts and brake hoses (will be going braided for the hoses anyway, so no issue there). Well.
Some pricing investigations, and it looks like the Terri Rear Calipers alone are not all that cheap. While BA rears will go for $50 each, the BF/Terri rears are closer to $500 a pair - from most places I've spoken to. Which makes me realise what a good deal the FTG package $650 is - with new bits and all, including discs and pads. So it sounds like finding a cheap way out has resulted in a dead end, or at least the other side of the full circle.... Lukeyson |

Thanks, Justin. id certainly give it a look in, the rotors are the same iirc, and im pretty sure the calliper mounting locations are the same, it will just be clearance issues and also maybe custom lines |
