ok question for all, what is different in terms of dimensions between these two boxes? I have put a 97LE into my mustang and I'm currently looking at the transmission mount. If the 97LE is the same as the T5 then I can order a ready to go mount.

they are diff in the fact u need differetn X members the legnth is the same

When I took out my BTR from my wagon and put in the T5, I used the same crossmember. The holes are slotted from memory, I'm not sure. The gearbox fitted like a finger in a bum.

I have a btr cross memeber in my t5'ed EF now. Before that I had an XF 3 speed cross member - they all seem to fit.
it might be different for the stangs, but id say it would at least be close enough to make it fit with a drill and angle grinder.
