First of all is there a tech document on a Auto to manual conversion? if so where is it? i cant find it.

I have an EB series one with an EL tickford engine, will a EB 5 spd box, clutch etc all fit? Do i need certain flywheel? Do i need a different tailshaft?

Im planning on using my auto computer, i know this can be done ive read i works. Resistors on wires etc.

Sorry i know these q's have most likey been asked before, but if you could take the time to answer them again i would most appreciate it.

Thanks

You sir need to search harder :P

fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/auto-to-manual-conversion-guide-t42420.html

Have a read through that. It is detailed and basically covers everything.

6 bolt flywheel will fit the tickford motor...not sure if a 3 bolt fly wheel will fit anything after EB2.

Tailshaft should fit, so don't stress on that.

Can run auto with resistor trick...everything is explained in there

Good luck.

Just get a J3 chip mate from TI performance, will work a lot better than resistor tricking it, plus it's only $130 so come on! Effectively turns your ECU into a manual one.

Box will fit, Tail shaft will fit, you will need a 6 bolt flywheel as Phong said. 10" clutch.

And if you are going to swap your pedal box, don't! Mal Woods pin is a great way of transforming your auto pedal box into a manual one, they have revised the pin and it now has a massive brass plate that bolts on the side of the pedal box (lines up with factory holes) and makes the thing literally bullet proof. I used it and installed it in no time at all, very cool.
