hi can anyone tell me what is need to put a T5 gearbox (witch i have) into a 85 xf 3 speed manual ute i have the bellhoueing need as well as longer cluch cable but dont know if i need a longer or shorter tailshaft so any help that anyone that has done one would help me a great deal

Tailshaft is the same right down to the splines. Rest is easy. 8-)

Yeah did one about 4 or 5 years ago. Had an XF Ghia and the auto s**t itself. So did the whole conversion myself. Still got the bellhousing and pedalbox to suit. Car went up in smoke due to wiring problems. f**k good car too! :cry:
