Im considering rebuilding my T5, The sychros are fairly worn and grind a lot, and the linkages are dodgey.

The box is from an EB, my main question is when rebuilding, can newer components be retrofitted to generally improve the box. I'm not talking about a big increase of strength to handle more power as im not putting much thru it. My main concern is something that shifts a little smoother and less like a truck.

In the same boat, interested in any responces, also ball park price?
