It would want to shift itself for an extra $300!! It least play jingle bells..
I can't see the NVH being that much better that it's worth it though..

Let us know how fitting and results go :-).

Thats weird....my bank transaction entry has now changed??
It says $356.15 (as I was expecting)
Plus a $10 internation transaction fee (wasn't expecting - but this is obviously the bank)

Got mine today...

These are finished off with such Finesse... Everything about is perfect... Some may think it's a waste of money... But it would never play up by the looks... Will work on getting it in on the weekend... The composite gear knob is nice too...

Will get photos of it and the install...

Cheers,
Tim

They are a real work of art.... Engineer porn.
It's a shame to hide it under a few pieces of leather.

George at MGW takes great pride in his work, and it shows.

You already have one of the cheaper ones don't you?

Do a full Timmy style write up and comparison... Might have me sold and eating my own words..

I've just been looking at MSD ignition setups for the Falcon 4.0... 450 for a billet distributor!! But I know that's quality.. Might be coming into some serious upgrades and a supercharger for the lane soon.....

Yeah man I do... Unlike the other boys saying they had issues with their cheap ones mine has been problem free... This was more just a because I could... This is just so pretty but... May even just mount it in the house yet so I can look at it...

Cheers,
Tim

Any gear noise with the silicon gasket?

Where did you find a replacement bush? That would have felt horrible... No wonder it hasn't begun to wear into either part...

Cheers,
Tim

I just ordered one of these with the chrome 5sp gear knob, I ordered the "comfort" option.

What are they like to drive? At the moment I've got an XH shifter in mine and its rooted, spring doesnt work.

Yeah they're good... Silicone gasket is now on mine... Made no difference to gearbox noise... I wouldn't use it... It's gay and the RTV sealer was easier and seemed more positive...

They reckon the biggest reason I have noise is the hard acrylic gear Knob... They reckon a letter one would help immensely... I got used to the noise but and I reckon it mellowed a touch...

It's sure as hell positive and got great feel but... I'm happy with mine...

Cheers,
Tim
