Now I realise there is a few of these threads but none cover what I am after (a bit of a time saver)

Cruise control on my BA has gone- Noticed tail lights don't come on when breaking which has been asserted as a main problem that can cause this- When I switch my lights on I get illumination either side but breaking does not change anything.
Spoiler light comes on no matter night or day under breaking

wondering if their is anyway to test if its the brake light switch without replacing it or if their is anything else I should check?

And also a bit of a stupid question but your tail light globes are the same as break lights...? Just making sure

so your brake lights switch is ok






check/replace brake/tail light bulbs also check/replace sockets - normally there are two filaments in the brake/tail globes

Cheers! Wasn't the bulb's sadly how do I test the sockets- Multimeter...? and are they easy to replace? They looked fine

Seems a bit strange they would go on both sides simultaneously?
