your normal tailshaft should do the trick
when i changed from a BW35 Auto --> T5 i just bunged the stanrd tailshaft in the back. same as Toploader --> T5... same thing... the tailshaft was the right length. so dont see why it wouldnt be any different coz u got a singlerail. if u done the swap already just bung the tailshaft in and look for yaself.

Possibly an E series V8 wagon or XHII V8 shaft (auto or manual) might be a better fit.
Unfortunately, both types would be fairly scarce I'd imagine. If Banarcus lives fairly close, you could measure his (ED V8 wagon). Although with that time and effort, probably best as you've said to get a customised one.

NP. I think he's retained the original tailshaft with his auto-->manual-->auto conversions.
