all sorts of stuff can and cant happen , ive been lucky , when i was young and a bity silly i drive 2 sydney and bnack twicwe with no rollers in rear uni with no drama , i also drove a gemi for about 50 km with the center bearing ripped straight off the car also , you should have heard it
just something i done recent to test a tranny - clevo with no water , oil , balancer , alternator or anything else on front , rod snapped , holes in both sides of block and sump torn out right across , running on thinners through a can with rear kacked up to test tranny , it went for about 20 minutes with no drama reving the hell out of it to test tranny , stopped and started a fewe times , u just couldnt kill it

Tailshaft length and speed compared to previous models, lower diff ratio and overdrive combination, the old diff ratios were commonly 2.75 (9")2.77, 2.93,and 3:1(9" manual Falcons), compared to the common 3.08, 3.23 and 3.45 in 4 speed auto Falcons.

There were other ratios but most of those ratios were either rare or fitted to lower spec cars (200CI etc) which were not expected to achieve a high speed.
