They are not original running gear fitted from the factory so a keen eyed member of the constabulary would happily fine you for them. They can however be engineer approved. Don't play V8 Supercars with adaptors either as 1600kg+ cornering hard will put a LOT of stress on them.

I had the the nuts come loose... i thought the wheel bearings on the left hand side were stuffd!.. i baught a pair of new bearings... n pulled the 18 off... when i went to undo the adapter thats when i relised i could turn the nuts by hand and the adapter had quite a bit of free play... least i didnt have to do the bearings!!!


You should really consider using some Loctite Nut or Stud lock on them then if you find they are coming loose!

that's no different to not doing the nuts up properly on your mags or the nuts coming loose on your mags. there tapered in the exact same way as mag wheels.
