Hey ladies and gents
Just been doing some research on the ford territory, The model I am interested in is the SY TS series my budget is basically up to 18k 20k would be stretching further then I wish, I have seen plenty of these cars ranging from 13-16k, Only thing holding me back is the impending ball joint problem reading some people have had them done every 30-40k which is rediculous.. in the SY MKii update however this problem was solved. They designed the lower ball joint to be pushing down on the joint instead of pulling it apart in SX-SY (wtf). The SY MKii TS are going for about 22k. What I want to do is get an SY Series 1 for say 15k and put the updated upright/stub axle and lower control arm from the later model to stop the problem... I don't know if its possible or If anyone has done it... Im thinking I could probably do this and be cost effective over getting the updated model... Anyone make any sense of that? lol Feedback much appreciated!

Ill get trade and wrecker price if its only 1k a side then bargain on a car worth 16k plus
As far as I know its 2x lower arms per side and 1x stub axle per side and abs sensors, well worth it for improved design and safety.
