Hey guys i am after 4x Lowered Shocks/struts for my Eb II

The first place i tried was autobarn and they wanted $139 for Each monroe Front GT, and $149 for a pair of rears.

Then i tried sprint autoparts and they only wanted $88 for each from Strut and $95 for the pair of rear shocks.

The Model numbers i got from sprints were

365s001/L/R and 360091

Would the sprints deal be the way to go?
Also i have superlow springs how do i get the rubber things that go on the bottom, also how much will fitting cost?

You NEED short stroke shocks to suit your springs.
Standard stroke shocks suit king low's, nothing lower.
You need to look at brands Ultima, Pedders or Gabriel ect.
If you dont, expect them to wear out fast and a crap ride from bottoming out shocks.

Get the GT, i dont think you will find cheaper than ebay. Forget the $88 ones cheap ones usually tend to be rubbish. The new GT`s are a harder feel than earlier ones. I think they are backed with a 2 or 3 year warranty too.

yeah alot of guys I talk to in parts are pushing pretty heavy on the GT sports, saying for the $$ they are the best offering for a shortend shock. They have not had any complaints yet.

Developed with King springs, but put lovells or dobinsons on them, better units.

The prices look pretty good compared to what i was quoted at bursons recently for some Monroe GT short stroke shocks.

I currently have Pedders comfort gas short stroke in the EB with Kings SL's, and find they great, but they are outside your budget of $400 by a fair bit iirc.

Cheers
