Hey guys just wnting your oppinion on wat i should do
I just got my ba lowered .. and after i got it back i have noticed deep scratches around the holes where my wheel nuts go on my mags... because the nuts are pretty deep inside the actual rim u have to use the addaptors to take the nuts off .. well the susspension place have not used the adaptors and just used rattle gun to take the nutss off and yeh scratches gallor they used the addaptor on the lock nut but then have rounded off the addaptor so now i cant use it and even deeper scratches around tht nut .... should i take it back and ask them to replace my brand new rims that i just saved up 2 grand for or dont i have a chance in hell thanx dd |

If they damaged the rims, they should be replacing or repairing, and i wouldnt be wanting brand new rims repaired!

I hope you pointed out the damage to them straight away.
What place is that so we know where not to go. I would get them to give the money for you to repair it because trying to get new rims would be a pain. Go back and register your unhappiness with them. |

Yeah go back there ASAP, this happened to me, one of my rims has a nice circle around the centre because some tool doesn't know how to balance a friggin rim. All I got was a discount on tyres cause I waited too long. It matched up perfect with their machine. Tossers. If I had all the tools I'd never let anyone near my car, noone cares anymore
Screw them over for whatever you can. Wankers Ben |

all my nut holes have stratches in them.
but thats my fault. tyre iron rubs on it when i use it. oh well, brake dust covers all, the rest of the rims are spotless, just the nut holes. by taking the car, then going back at a later date you significatly decrease your chance of gettin anything as they could ask you to prove it didnt happen after.

If its in the nut holes I wouldnt care but if its on the face of the rim I would get it sorted quick smart.

Show them the damage to the edges of the bolt holes because you could see some damage on the face no doubt. Dont worry about inside the bolt holes because they would probably laugh at you.
Which place was it? |

yeh my wheel brace is a real tight fit into my rim holes and they're scratched to the s**t, but if it's on the outside/face of the rim, i would go back and see them about it.

mate, hate to be a prick, but you have no hope of gettin them to repair them, as you have accepted the car, taken it home.
You should of looked your car over then and there BEFORE you paid, and seen the scratches\dints and pointed it out. You most likely woulda had your wheels repaired and a freshly lowered car that didnt cost ya squat. Now that you have paid for their service and taken your car home, your kinda up s**t creek with no paddle for miles.

i had the same thing happen, i brought a set of 17 inch avanti stalkers, $1500 worth. i took it in for new rear tyres, the next day i noticed that thay had used a rattle gun on them when i gave them the proper tool for the rims, anyways all the nut holes where scratched bad and to make it worse thay had used a screwdriver to peel off the old stick on balance weights leaving deep scratchs, the rims are gunmetal finish as well so the scatches really stand out, i confonted them about it and thay did nothing but say a sorry, so i just drove off before i lost it and landed him one on the chin. what else can ya do? (besides slag em of to everyone ya talk to)

thanks phongus, next time i will be going to bobjane where i got the wheels fitted like i should have in the first place, i got a quote from bobjane and the rims would cost about $600 to repair and i would be without them for up 2 3 weeks. i will never go to a place that sells cheap tyres as there sevice and care factor is just as cheap
