Hey everyone,
My T5 has arrived but the clutch fork has no bearing in it. They're pretty expensive too($150 down to $100 from repco, think I'll just get a whole kit for $290). My question is, do new throwout bearings come with a housing or something? The clutch fork is just one piece, no attachements. Can't quite see how I'm gonna balance a bearing in the hole.... Thanks

Buy a clutch kit. My throwout bearing was part of the clutch kit. This will also give you an new clutch assembly. While it may seem like a bit of an outlay, you will regret not doing it when you have to pull the box back out in a few months time.

Will heed that advice for sure Benj, can you tell me anything about the throwout bearing it comes with too? Does it somehow fit onto those two tabs in the clutch hole fork?

The throwout bearing comes as a whole and fits on the tabs. The bearing assembly has slots on them with some metal spring thing and locks onto the tabs. I believe it only fits in one way.
