Hey Guys,
Doing a bit of underbody maintenance (brakes, steering and suspension) and i'm looking to replace all the bushes with some polyurethane ones. Can anyone recommend a good brand/retailer? I'm keen to do them but not if the bushes alone cost >$1k. I've noticed I can get some "SuperPro" bushes on ebay fairly cheaply:
Front Bushes
Rear Bushes

But the question is, are they any good? If anyone has some experience to shed that would be fantastic.

superpro bushes are good, imo much better than nolathane...

I have super pro , the blue bushes , they are great , suspension is much better . Can't feel as many bumps

I found nolothane bushings on my front sway bar the other day and they look like absolute garbage compared to superpro ones

I've had my SuperPro bushes so long, that I swapped them from one car to another....they are about 10 years old now.....you will NOT get that long out of Nolathane or Pedders.
They are also better engineered too....they have " Knurling " in them to hold the special grease, as the other brands do not.....or special " Voids " for grease or comfort level.

Looking through my manual I can see that I need a press to be able to remove/install almost all of the bushes. Has anyone had success just using a vice or hammer and suitably sized tubes/sockets?

Yes......using bolts, big washers, bits of pipe (different sizes for the job required), and a vice. When I sais big washers, I mean the ones like what suspension/shockie washers...the ones that are about 50mm across, and have like 10mm or 12mm bolt holes in them.

or a steel flat bar with the holes drilled.clean all the rust up in the holes before you fit the new bushes,threaded bar may help,as you can use 2 nuts to tighten and press the bushes.
