LSD'd are definately a good thing much more predictable if ur having a bit of fun but yer they cost alot more to fix so if ur a burnout man i'd just l;eave the ss in and hope it LS's lol

LSD diffs are fun but they let go too easy. I found that mine let go after about 9 months behind the new clevo. I'd say save your money for something that will give you better performance for a longer period

y do pplz generaly choose 3.45 as apposed to higher. I know fuel efficiency drops as it goes higher but does this mean that 3.45 is the best performance/fuel-consumption ratio? And I was told buy a guy that with 3.08 to 3.45, you would barely notice any difference.

And it's easy to correct you're speedo with a 3.45 as speedo gears are available for them from Ford.

so is there a noticeable difference from 3.08 to 3.45. The guy from the dif shop said "you don't wan't 3.45, what you want are 3.9's" but I personally think 3.9's are a bit of overkill for street driving.

if you're going to put in 3.9's ... why don't you just throw in 4.11's , if you have a 5 speed try get one that has 5th gear atleast 2000/2500 rpm at 100/110, and not 3500/4000 lol
but if you have auto and want 4.11's, it's overkill for your engine ... apparently none makes different ratio gear box's for auto's.... |

if you have a family get a LSD cause you won't get use out of a spool !
but if you don't care... spool is a must (with billet axels for extra assurance) |

my mini spool arrived today... and damn it's heavier than I thought... and bigger... now all i'm yet to do is pass a RW to get my car under my name(still under bro's ) and i'll slap in the spool & billet axels $600 built... should be worth it though
i've been in spooled cars, but never actually seen what they weigh... was suprised! |

just get a lsd diff and slap it in... or if you don't want lsd, your can get a detroit locker - about $1400 , it unlocks when you take the gas off going around a corner, and is stronger
